Effy and Mall Grab have teamed up on a new track.

The two London-based DJs, producers and label heads, who previously collaborated on track 'FMG', have dropped a brand new single in the form of 'Run It'.

Speaking about the bass-heavy club cut, Effy said: "Run it was totally unplanned. I had this cut up vocal sample that I’d been sitting on for ages, so I showed it to Jordy to see if he wanted to do anything with it. He put some sick drums and bass on it, I added some acid and we ended up with this breakbeat Prodigy-esque tune."

Alongside the new single, Effy has also announced details of her forthcoming debut EP, 'Not What It Seems'. A mix of "techno, breakbeat, bass and some other more melodic stuff", the EP will land on 17th June and is "inspired by the feelings [Effy] had when clubs opened after the pandemic and finding my confidence as a DJ and artist."

In May, Mall Grab announced that his debut album, 'What I Breathe', will land this summer via his Looking For Trouble imprint.

Effy previously featured among some of DJ Mag's emerging artists to watch in late 2020.
