KMRU is back with a new album, titled 'Dissolution Grip', to kick off his new label OFNOT. Listen to 'Along A Wall' below.

The Berlin-based Kenyan artist's latest LP is borne out of his work at the prestigious Universität der Künste (UDK) and his European travels. He built upon his signature use of field recordings and evolved them into structural guides for sound. Out 29th September, 'Dissolution Grip' features two longform pieces, 'Till Hurricane Bisect' and the title track, plus a digital-only bonus track.

Earlier this year, KMRU co-curated 'INSHA', a compilation of music by Kenyan artists from the Nairobi Ableton User Group workshop.

KMRU has recently released collaborative albums: 'Limen' with Aho Ssan in 2022, and 'Peripheral' with Echium in 2021. In 2022, he remixed Courtesy's 'Night Journeys' for her Kulør label and contributed to the soundtrack of Netflix documentary 'Civil: Ben Crump'.
