Mixrace, the duo of Paradox and DJ Trax, will release their first new music in almost three decades in September via Over/Shadow, a two-tracker called ‘Myosphere’. Have an exclusive first listen to the B-Side, ‘Stillness’, below.

Back in 1992, Paradox and DJ Trax debuted on the seminal label Moving Shadow as Mixrace, bringing hardcore mayhem, with the former on vocals. Now, the pair return on Over/Shadow, a label that’s already proving to be just as visionary as its predecessor. ‘Myosphere’ is a Grade A cinematic roller, but our pick is ‘Stillness’, with its astral pads, and breaks that manage to be tough and direct yet awe-inspiringly epic all at once.

The release follows DJ Trax debut LP for the label, ‘Break from Reality’, which landed at the end of July. Paradox, meanwhile, recently linked up with Seba for a new EP, ‘I’ll Wait / Amara’

‘Myosphere’ will be released on 1st September, and will be available through Over/Shadow’s Bandcamp
