The London party series and label Secretsundaze have announced their debut EP as Spirit of Sundaze Esemble, titled 'I'

The release is set to drop 22nd September 2023, with the first single, ‘Come Into My Life’, due for release on 23rd August.

Co-founded by James Priestly, Spirit of Sundaze Esemble consists of Lewis Moody (Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange), Myele Manzanza (Sound Signature), Oli Savill (Basement Jaxx), Nikos Ziarkas and Johnny Brierley as well as vocalists Shivum Sharma and Sahra Gure.

Speaking on the new EP,  Priestly said: “I fondly remember this dropping when I was just 9 and it’s been one of those tracks that’s been with me ever since. Killer Mantronix production and just the most beautiful delivery from Joyce Sims (RIP) that traverses a US underground electro / machine funk flex with a magnetic pop sensibility. We didn’t wanna do too much to this one, we’ve just given it a slightly more UK / Street Soul / Balearic vibe.”

Earlier this year, Giles Smith, who co-founded the popular London party over two decades ago, announced that they would be parting ways. You can read more about their split here.

In May, Secretsundaze released a documentary ‘Hearts Not Hype’ celebrating its history spanning two decades.

Following on from their debut sold-out show at Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, the 8-piece collective will play on 21st September 2023 at EartH Threate in London ahead of the release. Tickets are available here.
