Numark has released the latest model in its Mixstream Pro range, a new standalone controller called the Mixstream Pro+.

With built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, the original Mixstream Pro was first released in 2021 and designed to be used without a computer, offering users the ability to stream music from multiple sources including Beatport LINK, Beatsource LINK, TIDAL and SoundCloud Go+.

The Mixstream Pro+ update, a two-channel DJ hardware unit featuring built-in speakers, now offers streaming access to Amazon Music Unlimited, as well as compatibility with Serato DJ (current owners of the original Mixstream Pro will be given Serato compatibility) and VirtualDJ. “Tracks are analysed for bpm and key as they are loaded and buffered into the internal memory, ensuring uninterrupted playback at every party, gig, or livestream,” a press release from Numark for the new standalone controller said.

The Mixstream Pro+ is priced at $699 (about £577). You can find more info over on the Numark site.

Last year, Numark launched a new 4-channel DJ controller called the NS4FX, which comes with Serato DJ Lite software and is also compatible with other software programs like VirtualDJ and Algorridim djay Pro AI.
